A view into my journey to train for the biggest race of my life. I am a full time professional who is dedicated to personal health and wellness and achievement. In my "spare" time I will be training intensely to completely my first 24 hour solo endurance mountain bike race in October 2015. I'll be sharing my journey. Post workout
Today was a gym workout. In training for the mountain bike race season I like to incorporate flexibility, strength and core training. I did an hour of pilates. Got some cardio on the elliptical. Not exciting but good for gentle cross training. I also worked with my personal trainer for an hour of weight training. Now, relaxing on the couch. Hoping the weather will hold out for a ride tomorrow.
